George Slipp

George is a 1955 graduate of Dalhousie University and the owner of a community pharmacy in Woodstock, New Brunswick. He has been an active member of the New Brunswick Pharmaceutical Society holding various offices as well as representing the association at the national level. From 1976 to 1981 he served as chairman of the Negotiating Committee. In 1980 he became a member of the Council and served as President of the Society for the 1982-83 term. As Chairman of the Woodstock 60th Anniversary Committee he was instrumental in building a Woodstock campus of the New Brunswick Community College. George is the recipient of the A.H. Robins Bowl of Hygeia for outstanding Community Service and received the CPhA Meritorious Service Award in 1985.
